You may have heard about "structured water" before. Many are quite skeptical, and some don't even believe it exists, let alone that it has any value. But it's centrally important when trying to find high quality water. Water filtration processes used to clean our water supply frequently de-structure the water, so the question is whether or not this matters.

Dr. Pollack explains this challenging concept in the following lecture:

"In terms of the water that we drink, it's really a complicated issue," Dr. Pollack admits.

But "the water inside your cells is absolutely critical for your health. If you have a pathology of an organ, it's not only the proteins inside that organ that are not working, but also the water inside that organ. That near-protein water is not ordered in the way it should be.

So what you want to do is re-establish a kind of 'ordering.'"

What this means is that if you don't have properly structured water in your cells, it can impact the functioning of the much larger protein molecules (and others) that are interfacing with it.

In fact, the protein molecule in your cells cannot be viewed as just a molecule by itself. It's actually the molecule PLUS the water. These two factors together form the "entity" of the molecule in question.

"If you need that entity to function properly--take a muscle for example if the muscle is not functioning, it's the protein and the water that are not functioning," Dr. Pollack explains."You need plenty of this ordered/structured water and proteins in their right form in order to make the muscle function properly. So if you have a muscle injury then both are not functioning."

If you think of the cell as a matrix of proteins, like a grid made up of proteins and nucleic acids, the spaces in between those grids are filled with water. This means there are a lot of surfaces that interact with water and impact its structure. Your cells consist mainly of this interfacial, or structured/ordered water, making it essential to understand this water in order to understand the workings of the cell.

This is not a new idea. It's been known for years, although the information has largely fallen out of view and been forgotten. One of the pioneers in this area is a Chinese-American researcher Gilbert Ling, who wrote several books on the central importance of water in the cell.

So, water is actually part of the structure of each cell. In addition to the fact that this water is interfacing and is ordered, it is also charged. And the water just beyond it is oppositely charged. This acts like a battery.

Nobel Prizes awarded to researchers in the field of structured water

During the 1990 s there were 3 Nobel Prizes awarded to researchers in the field of structured water. They discovered that DNA, if it is in optimum health, is surrounded and completely hydrated by water, which has been restructured into a crystalline matrix.

Under high-powered microscopes, the water, when frozen, forms six sided, hexagonal shaped, ring structures. These crystalline structures received and transmitted electromagnetic energy. These are the frequencial vibrations that power cell function and structure. Hydration of cells is foundational for good health.

Research Work of Dr. Marcel Vogel

Marcel Joseph Vogel (1917 - 1991) was a research scientist for IBMís San Jose facility for 27 years. He received over 100 patents for his inventions during this time. Among these was the magnetic coating for the 24 hard disc drive systems still in use. His areas of expertise were phosphor technology, liquid crystal systems, luminescence, and magnetics.

Water has a complete memory. One of the greatest of Vogel's discoveries was that water, as well as quartz, had a very special characteristic. They have the ability to retain memory in a more complete and fuller spectrum than any other matter. He showed that "thought" could be induced into a water vial, and then measured afterward with a spectrophotometer. The results showed that in the UV region between 3-4000 angstroms, a new band appeared. These bands could then be removed by passing a magnet over the vial.

"You see here my friends, the starting, the backbone of a whole new science and technology, and that means that, in the future, we can take (structured) water and program that water to have the quality we want for the health giving energies which we will consume and take in through this water. The medicine of the future.

(Structured) Water is multi-dimensional, it is at least three dimensional. Now, when water molecule starts to form in space, we form then a unit cell of water, and when that unit cell becomes rigid, that becomes a crystal. This then, when the entropy has been lowered sufficiently, locks in space and forms a crystal that is ice. That requires a certain amount of energy to be added to it by the process of withdrawal of heat, until the energy has been built up and suddenly those atoms and molecules of water lock in space and form a crystal structure. The most beautiful example of these is ice crystals, they are hexagonal, six sided, as the quartz crystal, have beautiful dendrite formations from the nucleus where they are initiated from a drop of particle of dust or an oscillating molecule of water and they are continually different. There have been thousands of pictures taken of ice crystals.

Now, we go to the next level and look at water. Here is what healthy water looks like, a series of unit cells of tetrahedron shaped molecular form. This is called bulk water. The one, two positive charges on the outer periphery of this sphere, and then internally two negative charges from the oxygen to balance the two positive charges. That means you have an exceedingly sensitive electronic molecule, the minutest of charge, positive or negative will cause this molecule to twist, to lock, to form in space. Now, I told you a moment ago, were I were to lower temperature, as I lower temperature, I am extracting an excess energy from the water, I come to a moment where these structures start to spin and link together in a pattern, and that pattern is a tetrahedron. Once the tetrahedron forms in space of this fluid water that is cooling, they start to bing, bing, bing, they fit together, they develop a consciousness, a memory, a knowing of what they were designed to do and to be.

The remarkable thing is, all of the crystallographic forms that we have in nature now, and there are 7 major classes, can be formed in water itself. I repeat this statement carefully to you, water in the process of crystallization into ice will exhibit all of the patterns of the crystallographic world around us.

Crystallographic Forms

It is the personification in a single bit of matter of all that is. It is a very, very profound and meaningful statement. They have discovered this in the ice in both Antarctica and the Arctic by drilling cores hundreds of thousands of feet and pulling these core samples out and carefully pulling micro plugs under refrigeration of the ice and they find under the microscope all of the patterns of the crystallographic forms we have in nature. What we have found in our laboratory is that the energy of mind projected through a crystal will structure water just like it was frozen into ice. The remarkable and unique differentiation is that, that water, when it is structured with mind and with thought, remains fluid but structured, that type of category is called a liquid crystal, a mesophase, a mesomorphic transition.

I have put now almost 27 years of study into this type of structure. It is organized, it is holding information and it takes the minutest charge to release it and make to come back to its normal water bulk characteristic. We speak of vital water, we speak of holy water, we speak of Lourdes water, we speak of the sacred springs, and each one of these statements I find to be true. When I have studied waters from various sacred locales, I find a structure in that water which is unique from the bulk water. I got a sample of water from a sacred spring in Hungary and it exhibits an energy level that transcends anything I have seen anywhere."
